Koh Kood Resort is one of the best nature resorts on Koh Kood island. The Big Easy Resort is located on Koh Mak Island. Koh Mak is a naturally beautiful tropical island. Koh Mak is Thailand's preserved “treasure.'' It is an ideal destination for visitors who enjoy a tranquil environment, which is unspoiled by mass tourism. Koh Mak Island has approximately 10,000 palm trees and there’s a temple, three fishing community villages, rubber plantations, two uninhabited beaches, a primary school, a market, a health center, three diving schools, a few shops, two internet cafes, and thirteen small, unassuming resorts. I was told that there are only about 200 people who live permanently on Koh Mak. The rest of the people are temporary help from off the island.

The Koh Mak Resort was the first resort on this wonderful island called Koh Mak. Koh Mak is only a short boat ride from Koh Chang or Hat Lek. There aren’t many people on Koh Mak. This is where people go to get away from the crowds. The Koh Mak Resort is located in the middle of a relatively large crescent shaped bay.
The shallow waters in this part of the ocean are gentle with no crashing waves. It’s perfect for children and those of us who just want to walk out into the ocean to cool off or maybe even go for a little swim. The sand is clean and the bay is big. The water is clear. There’s a view of a small island.

I love Baan Koh Mak because it’s so colorful and fun. I love the art and style. It makes me feel happy all the time. I smile a lot when I stay here. The manager is an artist.
Baan Koh Mak has a great location on the crescent shaped bay. The staff are friendly and the food is great. Baan Koh Mak is kid friendly. Children love it. The ocean is perfect for swimming, diving, snorkeling, boating or just dipping one’s self in the gentle sea in order to cool off. The water in the bay is shallow and the surf is very gentle.
